ESPN Cleveland Adds Local Programming

CLEVELAND  (January 17, 2014) – Good Karma Broadcasting’s ESPN Cleveland announces the addition of a local show on ESPN 850 WKNR. Dave “Dino” DeNatale will host “ESPN Cleveland Tonight” with Emmett Golden as producer, which will air weeknights from 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (EST). ESPN Cleveland Tonight will recap the major sports stories of the day and offer a fresh perspective each night.

Dave DeNatale, a graduate of Bowling Green State University, is a 16-year media veteran who joined Good Karma Broadcasting (GKB) in 2010. Fans will recognize DeNatale’s voice as he has served as a show producer, update anchor, reporter and website contributor, though ESPN Cleveland Tonight is his first appearance as a regular host on a daily show.

Emmett Golden, producer of ESPN Cleveland Tonight, began his career with ESPN Cleveland as an intern, and quickly moved into various roles on-air and online at Golden covers the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland State Men’s Basketball and Ohio State Football for ESPN Cleveland, and fans have heard him chime in as a producer on “Hooley & Jerod,” which airs Monday – Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

6am - 9am - Mike & Mike

9am - 1pm - The Really Big Show with Tony Rizzo and Aaron Goldhammer

1pm - 3pm - Cleveland Browns Daily

3pm - 6pm - Hooley & Jerod

6pm - 8pm - Munch on Sports

8pm - 10pm - ESPN Cleveland Tonight


Evenings on ESPN 850 WKNR also features play-by-play and specialty programming from the Cleveland Browns, the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Lake Erie Monsters, ESPN Radio and more. In addition, longtime ESPN 850 WKNR broadcaster Greg Brinda hosts regular local post-game shows year-round.
