Michigan football coach Brady Hoke joined "The Really Big Show" on Wednesday morning to talk about National Letter of Intent Day and the rivalry with Ohio State.
On Whether Ohio State and Michigan are Once Again the Dominant Forces in the Big Ten
"No question. But in this day and age, there's a lot of parity and there's a lot of great coaches out there that do a tremendous job. You have to work at it every day to meet the expectations."
On Why Michigan is Such a Special Place
"We love Michigan. I became a Michigan fan at 10 years old and having coach Schembechler's office right down the hall is pretty special. We're proud of the great academic institution that we are...It's the winningest program in all of college football, so that's pretty special."
On What Defines a "Michigan Man"
"First and foremost, it's someone who loves their school and loves the experience that they had at Michigan, whether it be an athlete or a student. Obviously, those who are the student athletes played in this great football program with the great legacies and traditions that are out there. I think that's special. I really believe it's guys of character, guys of integrity, and guys who are in it for the right reasons."
On What he Expects from the Wolverines This Year
"We will be a young football team on both sides of the ball, but I think we will be a very active and a very tough-minded football team."
